Best Friend Chinese Restaurant

A place I would recommend to my nemesis Worst experience ever. Ordered the Clay pot rice and Crispy Squid with Spicy Salt. Both are AWFUL! The clay pot rice was not authentic, tastes plain. The waitress brought the pot on table then clumsy removed all the sausage and vegetables to another dish, while dropped a piece of sausage on the table. Then she added the soy sauce into the rice. I don’t understand why she did that. After the terrible service, the dish itself taste like nothing, greasy and plain. The the Crispy Squid with Spicy Salt, it was worse than the rice! Unbelievable! The waitress was doing chores cleaning floors then without washing hand, she handed the dish to me then back to cleaning floor. The food itself, was the worst I’ve ever had. The dough warped on the squid were limp, it was not crispy. And it was flavourless. I didn’t taste salt or the peppers. I typically give generous and positive reviews. But this restaurant is beyond terrible. I will never eat at this restaurant ever again.

Congee gave me food poisoning and peking duck was poorly cut and half bones. I was gonna study for my 3 midterms next week but this ruined my plans by putting me in complete pain for the entire day.

Service is really bad, took at least 10 min of waiting for them to take our order. And the restaurant was almost empty. The man who took our order had a very dismissive attitude. The food wasn’t bad but very overpriced. Will not be coming back, there’s better restaurants out there.

Ordered Peking Duck for afternoon snack, but terrible food and especially terrible service and attitude. Foods cold and improperly sliced, and dry as hell. Waitress there dropped the dish hard on the table and walked off as if she’s angry at us for being there. How ironic it’s called Best Friend.
