BESHOCK & Sake Bar was established in 2016 in downtown San Diego’s East Village. BESHOCK is a ramen restaurant that envisions a culinary hot spot tailored to suit the daily lives of busy San Diegans seeking meals that won’t leave them feeling “heavy” or over-indulged. Executive chef, Yoshiaki Tsuji, carefully selects the best pork and chicken bones and simmers them together to combine a mix of local vegetables and Japanese traditional seasonings for a minimum of ten hours. Adding the vegetables creates the distinct, deep, and umami rich flavor of our house-made tonkotsu broth.
