Nice friendly staff felt very welcoming

We reserved our table beforehand which was reserved when we got there so that was good. The staff were polite and friendly and the pub was clean and welcoming. Food was hot and tasty. Overall a good visit ehich was a birthday family meal so made it even better.

Nothing was too much trouble, welcomed us with a barking dog! Food delicious, will definitely go back as my mum now lives 15 mins away so our new local for lunch, and quite fancy the quiz!

The staff were friendly and helpful

I booked a table for 2 diners at 1900 hrs on the automated phone booking service at approximately 1700 hrs . We arrived at approximately 1830 hrs to be told there was a problem with the kitchen and food service was off. I enquired when the problem was known about and was told this morning. Why was the booking service still live if this was the case?? . The place was pretty empty and I suspect the so called problem was more of an issue with it not being financially viable to run the service on a quiet night. We won't try again . Fuming !!!!
