Italian woman, barely 4’11” who read tea leaves during the Depression for “Pin Money”. She raised her family on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, where she and her husband William were hailed as the neighborhood’s best cooks. Together they cooked up a storm for friends and family alike. Years later, Joyce decided to Follow in her Grandmother’s footsteps. She and her Husband Jim opened Bella’s in 1993 to bring Bella’s cooking to Habersham Village. For the past thirty years, They too have been cooking up a storm, and are proud to have become “Where Savannah Eats Italian.”
