This coffee joint is super dope, I love it! An awesome vast selection of super yummy coffee blends, a dope atmosphere and incredibly delicious happy go lucky ginormous cookies at down to earth fare. I hauled an oatmeal and raisin cookie with a cold brew which were both fantastic. The place itself is really cool, good vibes and I totally dig the extensive range of different blends and approach to battling food waste with still delicious day olds on offer. My new favorite coffee joint in town for sure! Staff are also really friendly and they stock solid dairy free milk alternatives.

Lots of dine in space. Clean and quiet but lively place. Staffs are friendly and it seems like a great place to meet up and hang out. Lots of food options and great variation of cold and hot beverages. Location is great since it’s really close to the waterfront. Big window allows to be able to look out which adds to the great atmosphere.

I would have liked to try this place out and that was the intended goal of heading downtown Saturday morning. We were a little early so the door was still locked at 7:55. This always disappoints me when smaller businesses do this. As a once small business owner I would always offer to open the door early for people. Well we went for a little walk. Returned at 8:04 and the door was still locked. So we decided to move onto the next shop. Hopefully this is a staff issue and not an owner issue and can be remedied with either proper training or owners on site. (yes I realize owners can't always be on site). Good luck to this new business and still hope to try them in the future and promote small business growth.

It was my first visit to this newly opened coffee shop in downtown Barrie. I ordered a hot latte and egg curry sandwich wrap. The coffee was great and the wrap was even better. Unfortunately, I spilled my coffee and spilled it onto my thighs. One of the waiters, August, kindly cleaned up the mess and replaced my coffee for free. The other waiter, Alexandra, gave me a bag of ice to heal my burnt skin from the hot coffee that I spilled. On the way out, Alexandra also gave me a cookie to make my day better. Outstanding services from two of them, made the place so cozy. I will definitely return to try other coffee and food. Thank you guys for making my day :)

Visit on Sunday June 16, 2024. Very recently opened and much anticipated. Great location in the heart of downtown. Mobility impaired accessible. Ample seating area for dining in. Good selection of hot and cold beverages and great coffee. Good selection of pastries and other foods both sweet and savory, all reasonably priced. Great staff.

Brand new! Ultra clean! Exceptional treats! After a waterfront stroll at Heritage Park we made our way through Meridian Square to Beaver Rock Café. Have you been? The selection of tasty treats and coffee and teas is extensive and delicious. One thing we particularly like is that the tables are not crammed together as they are in other locations. Black and white decor with a Scandinavian vibe, one wall is all windows top to bottom overlooking Meridian Place, so it’s bright inside. This is a great place to stop and chat, meet a friend, or pause on a waterfront outing. Living just across the Square, we expect to become regulars! We ordered a chai latte and a drip decaf coffee, the peanut butter protein bar and a chocolate orange cookie: perfect mid afternoon treat. Get here! You’ll like it! Photos below, including hours. Great selection of coffee beans and pods, too, in unusual flavours…many of them decaf: something you don’t see often. Thanks! We’ll be back soon, friends in tow… Oh! Almost forgot! Coolers contain focaccia dough, soup, and other items!

Soo happy this place opened! Just got their white chocolate scone, black Americano and house salad (with espresso vinaigrette) The coffee is great, honestly the best in Barrie. Staff is super friendly and inviting, and the cafe itself has had a massive face lift. One of the staff quoted Hammond from Jurassic Park “spared no expense”, how true!! This place is a huge benefit to downtown Barrie, will be coming back regularly.
