We’d been wanting to visit this spot and was truly impressed with the creativity and presentation of the food, the spot on yet easygoing and approachable service, and the impeccable interiors. We’ll be back for a date night one day soon.
I want to be clear here. We have eaten here a number of times and have really enjoyed our experiences. That having been said, we ordered carry-out, last night, and were not disappointed in the flavor. We ordered the grilled scallops. It was tasty. But we only received 3 scallops. Each about the size of a silver dollar (the original silver dollar, not the SBA), i.e. about an inch and a half across. It was $43, plus tax and tip. It was supposed to come with a confit sweet potato. It came with a couple of slices of sweet potato. We called to express our disappointment. All they said was that is in fact exactly what you would get in the restaurant—3 scallops, and portions of a sweet potato. We asked them to pass our comment on to the chef/manager, which they said they would. But no mention of how they could keep us as a loyal customer. So, go there? Maybe. But if you do, be inquisitive in terms of what you are actually getting. We are not volume (big portion) type of folk…but seriously, three scallops and a couple slices of potato for $43, give me a break.
Worst burger I've ever had which wad a huge bummer. Tried the pizza and flank steak dish which were just fine. Service was okay
As an omnivore that is more excited about vegetables than meat, this was a top 10 dining experience! The rolls were so good, I would go back just for them! The cauliflower was served on top of a magical sauce combination that was delicious.
Today was my third time at the restaurant and least satisfying visit. First we had a reservation and still asked to wait given that our server was seated too many tables at once. We ordered the butternut hummus, Brussels sprouts, and half chicken. The hummus was uncomfortably thick and lacking acidity even with the picked cranberries. The Brussels were overpowered with ginger forward “maple glaze” but overall well cooked. The half chicken came to our table lukewarm. Was supposed to be served with braised fennel that clearly needed more time in the oven or pan. It was too crunchy to be considered braised but too cooked to enjoy the raw fennel flavor. My seat was also incredibly drafty which contributed to my plate being cold within 2 minutes of coming from the kitchen. Overall disappointing experience.
Holly was our server, and she is absolutely wonderful, with top-notch guest service. Attentive and very warm and welcoming Went out of their way for one of my party members dieting restrictions
