I went in for a birthday cake which I did buy, but came out with a giant cinnamon roll. It was to die for. If you are a fan of cinnamon rolls and who isn’t. Then I highly recommend you try the Bearded baker. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought a cake for a birthday for $40 or $45. It was nice-looking on the outside and tasted fresh when we ate it the next day. However, I asked very specific questions about what was on the inside between the layers. I was told there were layers of chocolate and vanilla cake (this was correct) and that there was chocolate ganache between the layers...this was incorrect. The only thing between the layers was more of the frosting that was on the outside...exactly what I did not want for this cake. It was a decent bakery cake - better than a grocery store - but disappointing that we were misled (unintentionally, but still) about what was inside.

I ordered this cake for my friend’s birthday and requested an espresso filling. I was worried because this was a custom flavor but they knocked it out of the park. This was by far one of the best cakes I have ever tasted. The cake was perfection, not dry, and the espresso filling was fluffy and just unreal. We all couldn't stop raving as we ate it and woke-up this morning talking about it. My friend texted to tell me he ate it for breakfast. No joke, it was incredible! I can’t wait to order the same cake again.

I would have normally recommended this place because the cakes are truly good. However, the way they run this business is very unprofessional and rude. I had inquired about a cake tasting and a custom cake for my upcoming wedding. I had emailed around Thanksgiving so I didn’t expect an immediate response. When they finally did respond it was the 6th of December (totally fine). I emailed them back that same day. And then I heard nothing for about three weeks. I emailed them to follow up and still nothing for about another week. And when I did hear back, there was no apology or anything, just answering the questions I had asked. Then it just got worse. I emailed them back saying that we decided to go with another bakery because their response time was just too long and that didn’t work for us. We then got an email back “ That seems like it is for the best considering the budget issues.” of which we flat out don’t have. It just seems like a dig at us instead of just taking responsibility for where they messed up, apologizing, and moving on. I wasn’t even going to write this review but that last email was really just uncalled for.

Jon and his team are amazing! They did our wedding cake and cupcakes in October of 2023. The tasting was fantastic. Very reasonably priced and everything turned out exactly as we envisioned! Would recommend 10/10! He did a separate red velvet birthday cake for one of our guests.They also had gluten free and dairy free options which was great for a few of our guests.

Holidays are for family and friends, going to bearded bakery is great treats for all!!

Great dessert and the owner is a good guy you can tell he puts love in his desserts this is my new favorite spot

First time at this bakery, their desserts in the shelf on display looked quite tasty. We came for breakfast and each had a sausage/egg/cheese on a bagel. I wish that they would display the prices on their chalkboard menu. The breakfast sandwich was quite average, nothing special. We came, we saw, we conquered though.

Love this place.. staff is amazing... cupcakes are to die for, and they are dog friendly...( tho sadly they don't make doggie cupcakes)... the owner is such a great and friendly person... I can't say enough good things about this company.
