Beach Break Cafe

Got in because of good reviews, a bit disappointing. Food is a 3 max. My omelet came in fast, but looked not fresh - as it was made same time ago and was heated up. Potatoes - the same, too burned outside not that ready inside, and not fresh as well. I think the place started to cut corners as it became popular

Wife and I are from NJ and this is one of the closest experiences to a north east diner we’ve had so far since coming to Cali a few years back. They are very quick to seat us every time and even have a really nice heated outside patio for anyone like us that prefers to sit in a more open setting sometimes with our son. The food is great, I’ve gotten their corn beef hash breakfast twice already and I’m hooked! Service is very fast, food is prepared really well, and you’re in and out of the Beach Break within 30-45mins. Always leaving here happy!

This place is absolutely perfect- I came in on a drive up from San Diego for brunch and there wasn’t a single thing I didn’t love about this place. Molly the hostess gave me my choice of seat in a full restaurant which made me feel very welcome and right at home. She’s truly a sweet lady and so very kind. Then there was Collin my server who answered all my questions about the food, gave me good recs to eat and even allowed me to change my order when I decided I wanted the strawberry crunch French toast instead of the pancakes. I ended up getting both and well it was all delicious! The service was impeccable the food was dynamite and the atmosphere is very cool with the whole surf I’ve and a little Steely Dan playing on the stereo. I will definitely be back here. Stopped by on the way to Cabrillo National Monument and had a great breakfast. Service was good, and the food was tasty and generous.

I ordered the Awesome Omelett. It was awesome!! Loaded with Scallops, Shrimp, and Real Crab , with Avocado and Swiss Cheese. Absolutely Delicious They greeted me as soon as entered and found us a seat within 5 minutes. Our waitress was friendly, kind, and fast. Thank you so much!! PGIII

Loud, crowded, food ok breakfast .. how can you mess that up..
