bb.q Chicken Schaumburg

We ordered the Golden Original and Honey Garlic for takeout last week. The meat had an indescribable taste to it, kind of like stinky socks, especially the original one. We were very disappointed since we had heard many great things about this place, but our first experience was not what we expected.

Decided to try this place for it's fried chicken. I read somewhere this had one of the better fried chicken so I decided to get the golden original with fries. Yes they have spicier chicken but wanted to see how the "plain" fried was. It didn't disappoint! Fried to a golden color with flakes and very tender, with a hint of spice! Fries as well had that hint of spice, which I liked! All made to order, it took about 20 minutes to get the food. Definitely will definitely come back and try their other options!

The food was phenomenal but the service was subpar. When we were seated they didn't alert us to press the button when we were ready to order. We figured it out when another couple was advised to do so when they were seated next to us. We had to get up and ask for boxes and the check despite the couple next to us not having any issues with service at all.

The vibe of the place is great and so is the customer service. But I think the food is pretty average. It doesn’t taste bad but it also doesn’t amazing. I think it’s a little over priced.

Stopped in for a late dinner, good service and we were attended quickly. We had the boneless wings since they were out of the whole chicken and bone in wings. We tried soy garlic & spicy galbi and they were tasty! They were both crispy and good flavors. Food was great, only complaint is the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. My girlfriend and I decided to take the food home since it was so warm inside.

I've been eating at bb.q for about the past year or so. I normally love them and order direct but this was my first time trying this location. I accidently ordered the whole chicken where as I normally order the wings. I would NOT recommend the whole chicken. I nearly choked on a bone that I didn't realize was there. The pieces are very random and there's a lot of smaller bones that you have to be careful about. I also noticed this batch wasn't as crispy as they normally are.

Not happy at all the chicken is to chewy not real chicken at all kinda makes you wonder what the hell is it

It took a very long time to seat us and take our order. There was only one other person in the restaurant. We had their lunch special.They were out of French fries.They offered us sweet potato fries or onion rings instead. It took quite some time to get our order. The food was hot and it was good. But the service is so poor.
