Bayside Bistro

So good! A beautiful restaurant that serves high-quality food while retaining an “at-home” atmosphere. I love that a lot of their food has unique options- this morning we had a bean quesadilla with hummus. I never would have thought to put hummus on a quesadilla, but it was so good! Pumpkin pancakes were amazing! Very warm, kind, and friendly service- highly recommend!

The food is amazing, its all made from scratch. This is a great place to go with your family if you want some good food in a good environment. One of my favorite restaurants in all Rock Island. Dietary restrictions: They have great vegan breakfast options.

Caribbean food right here in the Quad Cities! I have to be gluten free, but was able to order a soft shelled crab sandwich and house made chips. For this New Jersey girl, who grew up catching and eating Blue Clawed crabs, it was heaven. Not something I have been able to have since my celiac diagnosis. (Not to mention living in the Midwest, where blue clawed crabs are unheard of). On another trip, I had the eggplant sandwich. It was amazing! The grilled pineapple added a sweetness that counterbalanced the spiciness of the sauce. This is a family run business, and they aim to please. The menu is 98% gluten-free and there are vegetarian options as well. We will be back. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available. Dietary restrictions: Most things can be made gluten-free. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy one level entry.

Very, very disappointed. For the money i paid, the fried crab sandwich was mostly bread.The potato chips were still raw! very disappointed I went to the restaurant when they were in Davenport. And got good service, good food, for the price. This was the complete opposite.

Don't be afraid of their "gluten free" menu--all of their food has been absolutely fantastic! I've had gluten-free food elsewhere that tasted like it was missing something, but never here! I just had the gumbo for dinner (if you go there for lunch you have to try their fried chicken!) and it was spicy and flavorful. We also shared chips and garlic hummus that was clearly made from scratch--we heaped the hummus on each chip and still had enough hummus left for me to take home. They seriously hand-make everything as if they were cooking for family. Speaking of family, the staff is as friendly as their food is delicious! Whenever we go there, we're welcomed warmly and taken care of. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast menu someday! Dietary restrictions: They have tons of vegan, lactose-free, and celiac-safe options that are tasty and filling.

First time visit and it was amazing! They were very friendly and extremely helpful with all my questions about my gluten free diet. I chose the Caribbean Chicken bowl, cold-press Tumeric Dance, and the gluten free dessert of the day. All was delicious and I was so impressed with everything. They were so sweet, delightful to visit with and helpful to suggest more options for me. The menu choices are amazing and can’t wait to return to try the many other gluten free options. I will definitely return and share this gem of a restaurant with friends and family!

If you are looking for a “typical breakfast,” eat at home. This was an amazing experience with delicious food, the most friendly people, and a fantastic atmosphere. My sisters and I went for breakfast and I can say with 100% certainty that Tish and Darrel (I hope I spelled your names right!) put their heart and soul into this restaurant. And it shows! Everything was delicious and I cannot wait to try their lunch and dinner menus as well! If Bayside isn’t on your list of restaurants to try, it should be!

The service was fantastic! The server was amazing and helped us well. The food was good. The gravy was very spicy so keep that in mind. The biscuits maybe could've been cooked a little less. But the potatoes wete amazing and omfg the smoothie was phenomenal

This is my second time dining in at Bayside. The people are lovely and the food is amazing! The Shrimo and grits taste like home! I love the fact there are gluten free items! I plan to return when I come back to the Quad Cities!
