Bay Horse

An absolutely shocking experience. We booked a table for 9 people, the food took almost an hour to arrive and when we asked where our order was at, we were told they were busy with takeaway orders. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the pub, and clearly takeaways were more important. The food was terrible, the all day breakfast was overcooked, and the burger was burnt. We asked for an itemised bill but were told we couldnt have one until we paid. I have tried multiple times to ring the pub manager, but no reply. The staff told me they could never hear the phone. Definitely wont be returning, and it was a huge disappointment for us and our family who had driven from Cumbria to join us for a meal

Basic food but tasty.bit overpriced but arrived quickly with a smile ,dogs allowed too always a bonus

Great pub, stopped in for a bit of lunch and to meet some friends, loads of space for the car, great atmosphere! Didn't catch the name of the lass who served us but give that girl a raise! Super welcoming and really helpful with my wife's dietary requirements. Definitely a local gem, I'd recommend to anyone!
