Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

Aspires to be authentic Italian, which is commendable. Ingredients are good to excellent. Pizza making is however a craft not mastered in a day. Managing the wooden fired oven temperature requires skills. Some pizzaiolo are greenhorns and at times the execution lags. The cornicione can be heavy and not completely cooked, and the mozzarella cheese clumpy instead than melts. The taste is good. Better to find in which store the Italian pizzaiolo is for greater chance of a great pizza napoletana.

Sat at the bar. Jennifer was great.very attentive,made great drinks,kept calm even though lots of drink orders and restaurant very busy. Food was ok. Partners Pasta with meatballs had just way too much sauce and pasta a bit overcooked.My pasta with bolognese was mushy. Would go back to sit at bar and have appetizers and maybe try pizza as it looked good

Used to be such a great place, with the best pizza and pasta, BUT this last year it’s been a disappointment. Pizza is not good anymore. Always burned and no flavor.

Food is delicious, quaint spot. Service is typically good but this last time, it was sloooow. Still gave them a 5 star overall. Normally, it's 5 stars!
