The food was delicious! I got the 4 course meal and it was so filling, the drinks, the corn the birria, and the best of all the churros! It was such a delicious meal. We ate outside, the atmosphere was so fun, someone was playing live music with his guitar, people were laughing and having fun. The service was not great but it was so busy and the waiter was still so nice, I felt bad for him running around, but overall he did well brought us everything we needed, comped our bill for food that took too long. Overall I’d definitely go here again!
Good food and great drinks. I love their Pepino Loco margs. My wife’s drink was a frozen peach cocktail that was delicious as well. Food was great!
Went for a Happy Hour late lunch, everything was delicious and Marco the barkeep was super! I had all three of the HH $5 tacos, the $5 Casa Marg, and the $4 draft Pacifico.
Drawn in by the happy hour deals but don’t be fooled. The experience started with sitting at the bar and receiving stale chips. The salsa also tasted expired. When asked for new chips, we were told they were out and that’s all the restaurant had. So obviously you knowingly served us old chips. Then the tacos were beyond disgusting. It looked like old cafeteria meat or something out of a can. All the meat looked the same and it lacked flavor. While we didn’t spend a lot. You get what you pay for.
Top notch service, flavor, ambiance and presentation. Will be back, again, for sure to try out the mole sauce 😋 Thank you for everything.
We must have ended up going for lunch on a bad Friday!
Service was non-existent. There was confusion between wait staff when a young waitress came to care for us after a more senior waiter had taken our drink order. She must have been ordered to stay away from us after this incident.
The food arrived faster than at a fast food restaurant and wasn't all that good. Flavors were bland. Once we were done eating, our drinks finally arrived!
We asked for more salsa to finish our chips, but it never came.
We had to get up to go pay our bill and leave. Brutal!
We had visited before and will not return.
Great lunch spot in Old Town Scottsdale. Service is prompt and friendly. Atmosphere is festive. I ordered the La Dona Mocktail (Lemonade, Blood Orange, Passion Fruit Purée, Agua Azul) and very much enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. The roasted elote appetizer was the superstar of my meal - gorgeous and so delicious. And prices very reasonable for Scottsdale!
