The staff here is on point and very good!

We go to Barcelona on occasion, and never have a bad experience. On this particular evening, it seems we did not have a server for around 10-15 minutes until I approached a manager and asked if someone could attend to our table, but after we were assigned our server, English, he was absolutely fantastic. One of the 'service helpers' was a little... off the mark... on this evening, but I'm not holding that against English, the manager, or Barcelona at all - it happens. Manager was super kind; she came and thanked our table for our patience for having not been assigned a server initially (no problem!), and it was very sweet that she thought to come and say so. We'll continue coming here, of course, anytime we are in Norwalk and are in the mood for the best tapas and cocktails.

Great food, excellent variety of tapas, delicious drinks all the time and a wonderful wine list. I have to say that most of my visits to this restaurant never disappoint, service does slow down on busy nights but overall everything flows. Their menu does change a bit seasonally therefore some dishes are not always available, I highly recommend the paella de mariscos, the ham croquettes, the truffle tortilla española, the charcuterie boards are a much and the gambas. My favorite cocktail is the alebrije, try it if you’re a mezcal lover like me.

I really like this place. The food is excellent and unique. I thought eating tapas would leave me hungry but no. I was pleasantly full when I left. It was also much more enjoyable to try so many different dishes. I look forward to my next visit.

Need a better menu

My wife and I have been to Barcelona numerous times over the years, even had our sailing team party of 20+ people. I used to really like this place, until the last visit on Friday October the 13th. We were a group of four and I insisted on going to Barcelona. They were way overbooked and understaffed, service was just not there. After a long wait for our reserved table and and then the waiter, our tapas were brought at least 15 minutes before we got our bottle of wine. We actually ordered glasses of wine at the bar and brought to our table. I was going to just let it all go and never write a bad review until I checked my credit card statement. My card got charged twice. I got in touch with general manager Brandon who promised to take care of it at least three times, but never did. Straight up told me to dispute it with my credit card bank, which ended up doing. Just make sure you check your credit card statement after you go to Barcelona.

Great small plates Bison skirt steak was awesome! Good to go with an old fashion whiskey! Nice bar atmosphere

Amazing restaurant. Food is awesome and reasonably priced

We visited Barcelona Restaurant this past Saturday, excited to use a gift card we received for our wedding engagement. Sadly, our experience was far from celebratory. Despite arriving 5 minutes early for our 7 PM reservation, we encountered a bustling environment due to a private event, which seemed to overwhelm the restaurant's planning. The first setback was a 25-minute wait past our reservation time, leading us to a makeshift table where we felt uncomfortably squeezed in. Throughout our meal, the proximity of waiters to our table was intrusive, as they frequently brushed against my purse and bumped into my chair several times while attending to other guests. Service was noticeably slow; it took 10 minutes for our waiter to initially approach us and an additional 20 minutes to receive water. The disjointed timing continued with our tapas arriving in a haphazard sequence, and our wine and beer only appeared after the third dish was served. The final straw was the excessive wait for our bill, adding another 15 minutes of frustration to our evening. While we appreciate the challenges of a busy night, the lack of organization and attention to guest comfort was disappointing. We had hoped for a special evening to celebrate our engagement but left feeling underwhelmed and overlooked.
