Very calm & peaceful. The food was delicious
Bandanas was my go-to when I'm in the area for work. Food is usually good, but they let me down in my most recent order. The brisket was burnt, dry and crispy around the edges. The ribs were dry, chewy and super thin. I've never seen a rib that small. The baked potato tasted burnt and the chicken was dry and mealy. I don't think this next issue is Bandana fault, but it will affect my decision to order in the future. The Grub hub driver was too lazy to bring the food to my hotel room, he/she left it at the front desk. On the bright side, the bread was good and my order was correct.
I like this place a lot. This was my first poor experience. They are in a need server help situation right now. We waited 20 mins without being greeted. The folks in front of us left and we followed a few minutes later. The host came over once and sat a group, then she proceeded to get their drink order and finally was taking their food order while a dozen or more of us stood at the door waiting. I'll go back. They're worth another chance. The food is excellent.
The price to portion ratio is pure greed. Places that serve 3.99/lb retail food at $2.5/ounce (1/16th of a pound) need to go out of business. Or just change the name to Bandits
Bandana's motto is "Smell that smoke." And let me tell ya, they live up to that motto, and it is delightful! Their food and service are both the most genuine and "down home" as you're likely to find outside of your mamaw's kitchen. Other BBQ Roadhouse's seem to rush me into finishing my meal and leaving, so they can get more customers in and make more money. Bandana's, on the other hand, doesn't seem to cut corners or sacrifice a quality experience for the sake of higher profits. To top it all off, I don't wince when I look at my check at the end of the meal. Mandy (the GM) and her crew seem to be doing everything right, when a lot of places these days are choosing to do them wrong. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian or vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Let your server know of any allergies (gluten, peanut, etc) and they'll make sure you get taken care of. Kid-friendliness: They still provide the kiddos with crayons and whatnot to keep them entertained.
