This was the best sushi spot within a 15 mile radius. But over time it declined. High staff turnover, mediocre service, inconsistent quality. Not what you'd expect for the price.
Great sushi! The American rolls weren’t as heavy as you’d usually see which I liked.
I love this place because everything is basically gluten free and for someone like me to be able to enjoy foods that normally I can’t find any where else is amazing. This place could be great if it weren’t for the staff. They hire a bunch of young kids to serve who have no idea what they are doing. Our table outside looked like it had been hardly wiped down. Our waitress told us that happy hour was over when we got there but when I asked when happy hour was she had to say it out loud and finally realized that it was still going on. She seems stoned every time I eat there. It’s really hard to understand her and she’s doesn’t seem like she wants to be there. We ordered our food and saki and when they brought the saki I had to stop him from pouring it out. He was about to pour it without shaking it first which you could clearly see that there was a ton of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. When the food came out they forgot wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, and the dipping sauce for the karage. I asked for some and when it was brought out by someone else he gave it to a table that didn’t even have any food. So I asked someone again and waited for 5 minutes and still nothing. I had to go in and asked who I assumed was the manager because she was the only older adult working there. Her and the waitress I asked for the soy sauce were just chatting. When I’m paying over $250 dollars for a nice dinner I expect a little bit of service. The management could be better about who they hire and how they manage and train the team. I really hope this gets to right people and someone comes in and really does something about it. I would hate to see this place not workout because it has a lot of potential.
Delicious sushi. Amazing environment. I have not had one dish that hasnt been absolutely delicious. ** My wife has celiac disease, and this place has never given her a reaction**. It's not often she can go to a restaurant and not worry about cross contamination or is able to order most of what's on the menu. She can eat 95% of what's on the menu. Gluten-free soy sauce on the table and clearly marked gluten containing dishes! Thank you! Customer for life. Dietary restrictions: Everything that contains gluten is marked with a "G" on the menu. Most everything is gluten free.
Food is great. Came out fast. Was a little busy so I can understand. Service was great. Would definitely come back. Spicy seaweed fried rice was my favorite.
