Lovely dive bar with cheap drinks and tasty food. Their homemade Diablo hot sauce is delicious. Give Baja Bean Co. a shot.

The chicken fajita burrito was easily the most bland burrito I have ever had in my entire life. There was zero seasoning whatsoever. It was also extremely overpriced for what it was at $14. I have honestly had better burritos at Taco Bell.

Seriously… get the taquitos. They are five (5) full crisp fried pieces of perfection!

Lets go back a few years- 2000. Every Friday the Carpentry crew would eat lunch at Bajas- in Williamsburg (now closed). We loved the place and the food. A great end to the workweek. We decided to visit Staunton since we have never been here and discovered there was a BajaBC here! We had to eat in the bar section since we were too early for the dining area to open (which was drafty since there was a gap in the window I was sitting next to.) I had fish tacos and my wife a CCunga. We also got the 'fixings' to make it a proper meal. We thought the prices seemed low, but the 'fixings' were junior size. well, as I took my first bites i could tell this was not going to be good. Mind you I am known to my wife as not a picky eater. I could not eat the rice which tasted bizarre and tough. The fish in the fish taco was a fried fish-stick? And I couldn't identify the flavors of anything on my plate, except the sour cream. Our sweet server prevented me from sending the food back, I even didn't want her to know I didn't eat everything by covering it with my napkin. I was hoping that there was something wrong with me- but later my wife confessed she found the food unacceptable. I really don't have any advice- I'm a small business owner and want us all to succeed. The food really looks good- but maybe review your meals with feedback. Maybe leave a card on the table that asks for your opinion of how the food tasted- specifically. I don't want anyone's jobs to suffer from low reviews- but I have NEVER had bad food at a Mexican style restaurant, until We ate there. Best Wishes.

Nice place with inexpensive Mexican food and some vegetarian options. Service was very good at 2:00 in the afternoon. We were 2 vegans so ate the vegetable fajitas with an extra side of guacamole and extra tortillas. The complimentary salsa was delicious with the chips.

Nice spot if you're in the downtown staunton area. On the weekends, the street is closed down, and local restaurants have outside seating along with seating indoors. It's great if you like to go out and about with your dogs. The waitress was super nice, the food was good, and fairly priced for the area. What more could you want? We had the street tacos and they were super tasty. The salsa was fresh and a little sweet. The honey Diablo sauce was jamming! The inside is nice with plenty of seating. They also have a bar on one side, but we will check it out next time. If your shopping around the many cool stores and feel like a great taco, stop by the Baja bean.

Good service but the prices and the quality of the food that you receive do not align. Be prepared to pay $8 a drink for rail drinks... if I was in DC it would make sense, but here? Not so sure. You will get better deals and food at Taco Bell. It's pretty much just a late night spot to drink, so don't expect more than that.

We went during the magic festival and were greatly disappointed. It tasted like there was no seasoning on the burritos and the rice was really bland. The worst part was the prices were the same or higher as the menu online, but we got no sides (which are included in the online menu) and the burritos were much smaller than expected for the price. Maybe it was our bad going during the festival, but it still convinced us we will not be going back until they figure out what’s going on.
