Bailey's Package Store

VERY rude and disrespectful. I asked if they had a certain drink and I was going to buy multiple bottles of wine and liquor for a party. The man at the cashier was very rude and answered me sarcastically saying I should go wherever they sell it because the “type of people that go to the store don’t buy tequila“ went 1 min down the street and spent +$600 happily.

Great service great selection of IPAs and the roast beef sandwich I got was amazing and fresh as can be. Recommend to anyone!

The guy at the counter couldn't multi task at all. I asked for 2 PowerBall quick picks 2 games on each. I got 4 tickets. It couldn't give a price without ringing it in. It took 8 minutes to ring out a 12 pack and 4 quick picks. Never again.

The deli is great. I enjoyed the Italian sub; check their website for daily specials. $5 card minimum. Most everybody on staff is friendly and will engage in small talk while one pursues their transactions. To be honest, I feel very warm toward the majority of staff. I see a lot of reviews written by people who suggest the owner is unmannered, but I've seen no evidence to this effect. One can simply go into the store and exchange money for the goods being sold.

I don’t throw this term around lightly but the man running this store was shockingly and aggressively racist towards my friends, and threw them out of the store upon looking at them. I felt ashamed to have brought them there and subject them to that in the 21st century. It reflected very poorly on what was an otherwise pleasant visit to the south shore. There are much better package stores in the immediate area with more interesting selections of Irish products and they don’t mistreat people for the color of their skin. I’m not surprised to see others corroborating my experience of the staff being small-minded and hateful, and it’s people like this who give our community a bad reputation. Weymouth can and does do better than this; I encourage people to not give these people their money or let them define the character of our community.

I have lived in Weymouth for a few year and enjoy popping into Bailey’s for my alcohol needs. The employees have always been kind and helpful, and there’s a good variety of choices that change seasonally, as well as classic staples. I’m happy to support a small business, and it’s conveniently located near other places I visit for errands (ex: the post office and Whole Foods).
