Avanzare Italian Restaurant Paragould

I did two orders of Ravioli (BEEF) delivered through Paragould2go to open up my container with hair in the dish. I have no hair.I took pictures and called the restaurant... The response was like whatever....The hair got in the container from the Restaurant or the Delivery Person... That was wasted MONEY...

9 people in our group for dinner service was completely slow and two people in our group did not get their food. The waitress said she would bring the food out for them in Togo bags and even then the order was incomplete. The waitress blamed it on the kitchen staff not speaking any English. If you own a business it seems like you would be there or have a manager to represent you in the chance of issues with said business. Very disappointing all around. My wife and I usually eat there weekly but its not going to be on our list of places to go anymore.

On Sunday, December 31, 2023, 5 members of my family decided to eat at Avanzare after church. Arriving before noon, customers were leaving and arriving. We told the hostess the number in our party. As we waited, I went to the restroom. I noticed two large tables pulled together for a group of 14. A party of 5 had just been seated at a table for 8 as I returned to the front to wait with my family. Several parties with fewer numbers were seated. We asked the hostess if the tables could be pulled apart since we were a party of 5 and the next party had 6 individuals. She replied, "I must ask the manager." The manager came forward and we asked our question. The young man stated, "We cannot separate the tables. We may have a large party arrive." I said, "You have two parties that you could seat immediately but you MAY have a large party show up?" The manager just said, "You have a nice day." This made little common sense to me--customers with ready money or a possibility! My party of five left for another restaurant. The party of six may have stayed but the three children were already restless. Just a word of caution: if you are willing to stand and wait in a party larger than four (very little seating while waiting) or if you go at a slow time, Avanzare may be the restaurant to choose. Larger groups are apparently difficult for this restaurant.

Waiter was very hospitable and attentive. The bread and dipping oil was to die for. We were not disappointed with our salad and dinner.

This place is extremely underrated. You get more than what you pay for. Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat.
