Walking in in, the place was packed. The only seat to be found was our table, we made reservations. This place is wildly popular. We sat by the bar but we could see the outdoor beer garden. It's a nice, comfortable seating area and live music. It's what makes the space what it is. Awesome. We waited over 10 minutes for our waiter but we figured it was because they were so busy. When she showed up, we had our order prepared, including the drinks. Order placed, waiter off to put everything in for us, we waited... And waited... And then waited some more. About another 10 minutes. OK really busy. We get it. Drinks showed up and were delicious. Then came the wait for the plate of muscles, about 5 minutes. Cool, back on track. The muscles, green curry, were awesome. A little spicy but loaded with the curry flavor. Apps down, plates were cleared promptly and our food magically appeared about 10 minutes later. Delicious again! However, by the time the apps were done, we were looking for another drink and our waiter... Nope. She passed us once but never stopped. Water it is. After the awesome meal, perfect for the beer, it was time to, you guessed it, wait again. We never saw our waiter after buzzing by us shortly after our food showed up.... Finally, some 15 minutes after we were done, she came back to the table and asked if we needed anything else... Not on her schedule so we asked for the check. She had it with her. The only thing that she did quickly was make sure we paid.... Food great, loud and raucus like a beer garden is going to be. Service? Not from her.. We'll go back but if she's our waiter , we'll sit somewhere else or, if needed, go somewhere else if there are no other options.. Good but for the service.

Food is good, service is just poor and actually quite mean and rude - they have a QR code to read the beers on tap, you ask if they have a menu and you are told "you can't scan the QR code" - even "jokingly" telling you you must not be bright - I get a little humor, but it wasn't that clear, and you don't get service within the building. Then the guy thought it would be funny to keep insisting I am stupid if every time I needed something, I get he was just having a laugh but the entire experience was bad. Hostess also just seemed irritated and rude to my parents when they asked if they could not sit at a high top table, but maybe spending all day around certain staff causes you to have a bad day.

Look, it's a solid restaurant/bar on King St. It's my go-to place to take my DC Fray team after volleyball games, just because after 8, parking isn't too hard and they always have room. Hoping they become the sponsored bar for this season!

My favorite local bar. you can watch your game and have a nice beer with great food. The hamburger is my favorite. The court yard is so popular and many people bring their dogs. Fun place to be.

Fantastic food & a great relaxing atmosphere nestled among three historic downtown Alexandria. The mussels are the star of the menu, with multiple varieties to choose from. These are complemented by a delicious menu that should have a dish for almost everyone. I highly recommend the Frites & dip trip as a starter. Equally as impressive is the cocktail and beer selection. Cocktails are beautifully mixed and presented and the draft rotates with local and smaller breweries. This is a must do on my list when visiting DC, we will be back again and again. Parking: Plenty of metered parking along the streets directly outside and surrounding the restaurant

Not great, the burguer was dry, crispy onion dry and that dries the burguer, the beer was ok, maybe a bit more cold would be fine

The food was ok. Chicken sliders are good, but they're small, and you only get 3 for $14. The problem I have is the management. I asked a black dude in a blue Nike polo to change one of the t.v.s out of the four they have in the front where the bar is to a hockey game and he declined, saying, everyone is watching the Masters. I'm at the table that seats 14 with a group of friends which is in front of the bar and one person is watching golf. I look around and there's two other people watching the Masters. That's it. 4 t.v. screens for 3 people? Think the guy in the polo was just being a douchebag. He couldn't change one t.v. to a hockey game which I know is on because it was on in another room. That's poor customer service. Do better.

Great spot right on King St in Old Alexandria! With 2 floors and a great atmosphere. It was a little more expensive than we expected, but well worth it for the food. You have to try the mussels. They can cook them in so many ways. The signature cocktails were great. They have some great craft beers on tap, but beware, they do not serve 'plain or domestic beers'. They have a pretty good wine selection and our waiter was very knowledgeable. The bathrooms are in the basement (dungeon) but they are very unique.

The patio is extra special with the addition of more big screen TVs. One outside hasnt been working for awhile, though....Best comfort food. Burger really good. Excellent beer menu. I especially love when Lunch from Maine Brewing is on tap! Max great bartender.
