One of the best experiences as a customer and food lover . The staff is beyond professional, accommodating and extremely talented. The food was fantastic. Chef Sarah is a perfectionist and treats the food with upmost precision. Giovanni was our waiter and he embodies what every waiter should be. This establishment is nothing short of classy and excellence.

Ok, Artisan. Absolutely outstanding. Ate there twice in a row for dinner, first night was the walleye, with friends and then dinner for my dad’s birthday the next night, when I had the wagyu. The drink pictured is their “Mexpresso Martini”, /also delicious. The food was cooked to perfection. Almost the entire menu is locally sourced ingredients. On top of having amazing food, the service was also an authentic fine dining experience, an experience I’ve yet to have in Traverse City. Our little town is growing up, and if you are in town, Artisan is definitely worth the visit. Mark, the manager Mark is very personable and a pleasure to talk too. I had the pleasure of having Monica as our server for both of my meals and she was outstanding in her explanations of the food and the way they were prepared. TLDR: go eat at Artisan! Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for vegan, vegetarian, and GF diners. Parking: The restaurant is in The Delamar Hotel and there is ample parking in the hotels lot.

I had a phenomenal experience at this restaurant. What is crazy is that when I pulled into the parking lot I realized that I was at a hotel and nearly decided to not go in as I was expecting a stand alone restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted with a genuine smile from the hostess and promptly seated. The ambiance was top notch with the fireplace, the view of the lake, etc. The waitress was very kind, knew every detail of the menu, and articulated it very professionally. It was easy to see that she genuinely enjoyed serving everyone. I thought to myself that I was taking in a beautiful view of the lake, the warmth of the -place, seeing the other couples had amazing looking dishes as I waited for mine to come and after it did I realized the only thing I was missing was someone to talk to as I was traveling for business. At about that time of all people that decided to engage me in conversation was the head chef except initially I thought it was simply another guest as she was eating as a guest. At that point it was no surprise after learning about her background that their food was top notch as well as the presentation and incredible service. I look very forward to visiting again!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with fine dining at Artisan. Our whole evening at the restaurant was so lovely. Our server, Alex M., was very friendly, funny, and very attentive. Upon being seated, we were gifted with a complimentary glass of champagne, since we were celebrating an anniversary. We were also brought complimentary hors d' oeuvres. The cocktails we ordered were nicely crafted. My husband and I both ordered the filet mignon. The steak was melt in your mouth tender and juicy. It was paired with brussel sprouts and potato pave'. After dinner, we were surprised again, with a dessert that was "on the house". By this point we were stuffed, so we chose to share a dessert. We chose the chocolate mousse. It was so rich and decadent! It was covered in chocolate ganache and served on homemade meringue with a crumbled ginger cookie and homemade cherry sauce. We can't wait to come back again.
