A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, this wine offers aromas reminiscent of baked peach & apple tarts, warm bread, white spring flowers, & an undeniable chalkiness that recalls Champagne’s limestone soils.

Around 15% of the blend is from still Pinot Noir grown in the area, which gives this wine its eye-popping pink color. It’s all red fruits (think raspberries and red currants) underpinned by a lovely richness and velvety bubbles to please the palate.

No, this isn’t the “Chablis” from California you’ve seen in jugs; this is the real deal Chardonnay from the northernmost and coolest area of Burgundy. It’s flinty, bright, and still full of caramelized citrus to enjoy.

Textbook white Burgundy from a négociant (merchant) that’s long been known for quality and value. This wine doles out apple and peach compote notes enveloped in a hazelnutty richness that’s sure to please lovers of Chardonnay.

This chardonnay opens with an aromatic bouquet of ripe citrus fruits like lemon and orange zest, combined with notes of green apple, pear, and a touch of tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango. There is a subtle hint of vanilla and butter from the oak aging, balanced by an underlying layer of hazelnut and a faint mineral character, which gives the wine both complexity and freshness.

Plush, fruit-forward example of Pinot Noir with heaps of black cherries, pomegranate, and forest berries framed by oak-imparted vanilla. If you’re a fan of Sonoma Pinot, this hits all the right notes.

The signature, heady aromas of Barolo stand out immediately in the glass, namely dried rose petals and baking spices like star anise, nutmeg, and cardamom. The palate offers some of that and more, adding tart cherry, violet, and something recalling tar and clay to give the wine a lovely bass note.

The fragrance coming from this wine is heavenly with dried violets and roses, ripe and tart berries, star anise, and leather. A gorgeous garnet in the glass, this wine is powerful, savory, and elegant.

Dark, sour cherries with a whiff of sandalwood, cigar boxes, and – what is that? Tobacco? Complex, muscular, and practically begging you to order it with your favorite cured meats and cheeses for maximum enjoyment.

This wine is sometimes described as being “lavish,” and that makes total sense. It’s full-bodied and bursting with black and purple fruit flavors and aromas, the tannins are mouth-filling and luxurious, and there’s something that recalls brown butter on the finish. Lavish, indeed.

Savory herbs, dark chocolate, and mint combine in this wine grown at higher elevations overlooking the hotter Napa Valley floor. It’s different than your typical Napa Cabernet – a bit more restrained and savory than its cousins in warmer lower elevations, but certainly not lacking in depth and concentration.
