If you are looking for a very Italian style pizza this is the restaurant. Perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven. Fresh ingredients.
I hesitate to share that this place is so all-around perfect. It really is a gem in Weston. Just like their original restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Casa D'Angelo, their Weston off-shoot strives for excellence in food quality and customer care. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and thoughtfully. It is far beyond a "pizza place." Try one of their weekly specials, like the delicious Short Ribs over Seasoned Polenta or the amazing Branzino, and you will know the chef is tremendously skilled. I have never been less than enamored by my food order. Also, their drinks are inspired and their wine selection pairs well with the delectable cuisine. All of you should definitely stop in, but make sure you save me a seat!
The hostess was quite impatient and unhelpful. When I asked her for the specials, she had to put me on hold to retrieve a menu. It sounded like she was bothered by that. When I asked her if the stuffed lobster special was Florida or Maine lobster, she told me she couldn’t find out because the chef was too busy. I told her I only wanted to order it if it was Maine: When I pressed to inquire, she had attitude and put me on hold without commenting. She returned to tell me it was Maine. When I told her she almost lost the sale, she didn’t respond and didn’t seem to care. We order from this restaurant quite often but this is no way to retain customers.
Went in 2 nights ago. We were a big table of about 12. Our waitress, Paula, did a wonderful job! The staff that helped bring things out or fill our waters did great as well. The food was exceptional! The oil they provide for the bread to be dipped in is very good. My in laws ordered fried oysters, and were delicious. I am not an oyster fan but I recommend trying them as your appetizer. I got pasta e fagioli soup as my appetizer and it did not disappoint!! Adding cheese to it is a must and dipping the bread in it!! For dinner I had the blackened sea bass special. Totally recommend. The fish is cooked to perfection, the lobster and shrimp bisque drizzled on it just bring it to a whole new level. The mashed potatoes to finish it off is a great delight. If you enjoy seafood, this is the meal for you!. My husband got the short rib special. It was delicious as well. My experience at this restaurant was great and I would love to go back when I come back to visit.
Wonderful food, very fresh and homemade.
Our Friday nite hangout. GREAT pizza and food...grilled octopus is great too along with all menu options. No view, needs to revamp the beer list, but the cocktails are great. Friendly staff...we are there a couple of times a week. Wednesdays are oyster nights.
