Terrible fish and chips, everything was soggy. Batter was the same colour as the takeaway packaging and wasn't cooked properly. The 4 star hygiene rating for this place is generous.
The fish here was really nice! Clearly very fresh, the batter was a bit of an orangey colour, but it tasted great! The lady behind the counter was funny and kind. Next to 2 other fish bars, this one had the shortest queue, i recommend this fish n chip shop next time you’re in Barry Island! Kid-friendliness: Kid menu with a variety of options too.
