The wings were outstanding. However, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Why? You may ask. Because the service was horrendous. I’m not throwing the word horrendous around loosely either. Horrendous it was. First off, it took about 29 minutes for our order and drink order to be taken. Next, they gave our appetizer with the meal. Third, my beer was empty, didn’t offer to refill. Fourth, I didn’t get my beer refill that I requested until 40 minutes later. Fifth, I asked for buffalo sauce on the side. It never came. Sixth, if I wanted to request anything else, which why would I? It would’ve fallen on deaf ears. I had a difficult time getting ahold of the waitress. I get it. It’s a popular place. But that’s never an excuse for poor service, especially such egregiously poor service. Needless to say I won’t ever be returning or recommending because no matter how good the wings are, why does it matter if I can’t get even the smallest bit of service.
When did tipping become so compulsory? I was giving a $5 dollar tip and these people said that’s not enough, I MUST make it $10. And insisted, literally stood there waiting else they not leaving me, if I don’t tip $10. I was shocked.
Pleasant server, Fast service, Great food, and would definitely recommend
Travelled from Southern Ontario to try the birthplace of wings. I was shocked. Honestly, our local chain pizza joint has better wings. They're riding high on nostalgia at Anchor Bar, and that's about it. The wings were dry and boring at best. The fries were bland and seemed like from a frozen bag. It just wasn't good at all. But, it was cool to see the place. I'm confused by all the good reviews. Was it just a bad day or do we have awesome wings in Ontario and maybe hold a wing up to a higher standard than they do in Buffalo? Not sure. Sorry, just being honest here.
Was told this place was a must when in Buffalo. It did not disappoint! The wings were perfectly cooked and the flavor was spot on! Service was great. Gift shop was worth a look.
It's been a few years since I've been down so when the opportunity came up to stop for food, I took it. Ordered a bucket (50) wings with 2 flavors and fried mozzarella sticks. Wings are still great but I do wish they gave more than 2 sauces for the bucket.
This is the place that serves orignal Buffalo Wings. How could you say you love having wings and not visit this place where Buffalo Wings were Born. A must visit. Our server was awesome, and she really done a good job. Visit this place and feel the difference.
Went there got food to go, when coming out found a parking ticket on my car for parking in their own parking lot. When inform of the situation they showed no interest or care at all that this had happened. Ridiculous
The home of the Buffalo wing did not disappoint. The wings are big, and very filling. Definitely recommend getting two double portions instead of the bucket (you get more sauce choices). Really friendly staff, and free on site parking right beside the restaurant.
