Aloha Ice

I absolutely love coming here. I drive almost an hour away just for some aloha ice. The owners are absolutely kind and truly care about their customers. The best shave ice you will try. You won’t regret making a trip here definitely life changing good!

The shaved ice is amazing and tastes great. Employees are pretty nice, but the owners have not been friendly and welcoming during our 3 visits here. The lady owner brought the shaved ice to our table and when I told them “thank you very much” she walked away with an angry look on her face and didn’t say anything. Same thing happened during our next visits. Not sure why the man and woman owner are always grumpy, but not a great look if they want people to keep returning.

Flavors are great and the service is awesome. Just wish they had more tables, we had to wait 10-15 mins to get a seat.

We drive to Brentwood once a year to pick cherries. This shave ice spot randomly came up when I was searching for lunch spots. I will be challenged and mocked for this but Aloha Ice is better than spots in Oahu. The ice is extremely soft and fine, syrup is flavorful without the usual chemical taste. The mochi toppings were of great quality. They even have these acrylic stands to hold your cone while you eat. The store is on the smaller side so tables are always occupied. A large can feed a family of 2-4. Aloha Ice will now be part of our tradition whenever we go cherry picking. I wish they had a location closer to the Bay Area.
