The outdoor patio seating was amazing while eating breakfast in the late October morning.
The tortilla espanola was great and I decided to try both of sauces that come with it. I preferred the garlic aioli but both were delicious when mixed together. The cold brew was great with some almondmilk. The best part was that the price was very reasonable.
I will definitely be back for more.
We were definitely wowed by the food here. A lot of less conventional breakfast options and all tasted so good.
We were sitting outside and enjoying the birds having loud conversations.
I'd say that overall you can tell that this spot has been there for a while, but their service and food are on point and we'd definitely come back.
Parking was also pretty easy to find, as there are a few parking spots around this place that aren't street parking. That said, we came in sort of late on a weekday so maybe when they are more busy parking is harder to come by.
What a great find ! Thank you to prior reviews to send us here and have this kickass breakfast spot. We sat outside and it provided nice shade. We can't wait to go back
Talk about overrated - I just don’t understand the good reviews this place has. The food was mediocre at best; small portions at top dollar prices. And speaking of pricing, the receipt reflected prices higher than what was on the menu (and yes, I paid cash). I didn’t want to question it at the time because I was treating a friend to a birthday lunch (embarrassingly) and have been unable to reach them after the fact - they don’t answer their phone, don’t have voice mail set up and didn’t respond to two emails I sent from their Contact Us website tab (I gave them a chance to respond before writing a one star review). Bottom line? There’s way too many great choices in Old Town - this one isn’t worth your time or money.
Really enjoyed this hidden gem! Unique and tasty food choices and friendly service. I always forget to take pics of before dishes but we ordered Chi-town heat with potatoes and toast. Was not disappointed!! Sat on the patio... very pleasant.
Just ok all around. Finally visited after years of seeing it next to Cornish Pasty. Decent size patio that’s promising for the cooler months.
LITTLE HIDDEN GEM!!!
You've driven by it, around it, almost certainly parked in front of it, and now you'll want to stop in and grab brunch!
Let's start with the atmosphere: small, quaint, and sweetly homey.
The service: super friendly, helpful with food suggestions, attentive, and speedy.
Let's move to the part that matters, THE FOOD!
It was AMAZING, absolutely the best brunch I have enjoyed in Old Town Scottsdale.
The Chi-Town Heat omelette was savory, creamy, filling, and so delicious! The potatoes are perfectly seasoned and prepared.
Pro tip: Ask for the house-made curry ketchup...you will thank me.
Next, the Hatch Chile Lime omelet, was off the charts with it's crisped cheddar cheese shell, creamy jalapeno sauce, pico de gallo, and giant warmed flour tortilla.
DRINKS: The changaccino (mushroom cappuccino) is a blend of everything delicious you want in a morning beverage. I definitely wanted more than one.
NOTE: The kitchen closes at 1:30PM so gather your people early and try it out.
Great food, the pork bbq and waffles cristo were really good. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I need to know what they put in their hot sauce it was amazing!
We just had a fabulous meal this morning. We ordered the Chilaquiles and what a stunning meal! So GOOD! Also had a couple lates. Next we are trying the Chaga late for a change, instead of a late. This is the cutest place, but, we kept a secret so we could get a table since it is a small space inside. Can't wait for the cooler weather so we can eat on the patio with our puppy.
Pearl in the city Phoenix. (Scotsdale). Very friendly employees and original food with some Spanish influence. Great and cozy terras. Great to do breahfast.
The French toast has a fentanyl level of addictiveness.
The Google Maps listed hours are currently incorrect, see my photo for their summer hours. I'm disappointed that they didn't update their official hours on google, we drove 25 minutes to specifically eat here. But mistakes happen so we will try again during their summer hours. Posting here to help others. Wish I could post comment without review but don't wanna mess up their rating with this.
Kind of hard to find off the main road, (I’m not a local)- but this place is super laid back and sort of perfect. I was greeted by a young cute lady who told us to sit anywhere. There is also outdoor seating but I’ll pass when the temps are over 100! I got 2 scrambled eggs, home fries and toast. Food was out within 5 minutes. Small place, but they offer a whole range of food options. Their French toast looked decadent. Thanks
