Great food, but this place has been closed for about a week with no sign on the door indicating why or when they are returning. Phone number does not work.
Delicious and authentic Mexican. The place to bring out of town friends.
The mole beef enchiladas were amazing - best mole sauce I’ve had in DFW - a true scratch made recipe. All of the food was fresh - service was on point and prices are very reasonable. New favorite lunch spot!
Food was fresh, delicious, and pleasingly plated. Service was great. We would go back!
Great selection of meals and authentic decor
Fantastic food & service!!!! We pass many Mexican restaurants to get to this one.
Absolutely amazing family owned place. I really enjoy this. I highly recommend that you check it out.
Authentic Mexican Food, Just smile to Your customers, ill be back I think I found my favorite restaurant and its family owned.
My Wife and I just had dinner at Alma .
Very small family owned restaurant. (12 tables).
The bathrooms were clean (very important to us).
We served chips and salsa which was on a scale of 1 to 10 about an 6.
My wife ordered the steak fajitas.
Fairly good taste, a lot of onions less steak and peppers. The meal came with just 3 tortillas. We asked for shredded cheese and more tortillas, the waiter was happy to bring out 3 more and cheese. The Tortillas were ok, not bad but ok .
I ordered the Carne A La Mexicana , very flavorful .
Service was good, the food took some time but that was because it was made to order . That's a good thing ...
Check came ,
We were charged $2.00 for the 3 extra tortillas and $2.00 for the shredded cheese.
We have been charged in the past about $.75 cents for the cheese but never $2.00.
We have never been given just 3 tortillas or have been charged for extra until now.
Over all....
Fajitas were just ok.(Sad to say but Rosa's tortillas factory was better).
Carne A La Mexicana was good but thought it was a little pricey.
$52.00 plus tip for 2 Mexican meals and with 1 iced tea and 1 water is kinda high.
We would not recommend...
Seriously the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long, long time. So good. I even ate the rice and beans, and I never do that. Great drinks and service too. We will definitely be back.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Flower Mound, hands down. Reminds me of growing up in El Paso and the superior TexMex there.
The service here was excellent and so was the taste of the food. I'm not a huge fan of Tex-Mex and prefer this traditional style. The service felt very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a great selection and I think there's things I want to try when I come back here again
AUTHENTIC Mexican food that's not limited to "Tex-Mex." The Al Pastor tacos are the real deal! We'll drive far for genuine street tacos like these! The fajitas are spectacular. The menu is expansive and includes Mexican specialties that "abuela" (grandma) would make for the family, like the Carne A La Mexicana, which was to die for.
Oh, the hand-crafted margaritas are the best we've had anywhere. What a treat to have choices beyond what the chain restaurants offer!
Went to lunch with our granddaughter. Good food, people and atmosphere!
Maybe It's just that Im used to Sonoran Mexican dishes, and comparing Tex-Mex is not in the same category. My server was great, but the rest of the experience was lacking. To start, the salsa is just tomato, nothing that comes close to Mexican salsa made with any chili peppers. The hotter version is sweet with either mango or pineapple, not a fan. I ordered a southwestern salad with chicken, which took 25 min to get it. And honestly, it wasn't worth the wait. The dressing was bland and did not compliment the chicken or the salad. II ate a 1/4 of the salad and had the rest bagged to go. I then drove over to sholtskys for a regular sandwich. I may go back and try something different and see if this was a one-off.
