In 1969 JC King Jr purchased Allman’s Pit Cooked Bar•B•Q & ever since, Allman’s has been a stable in the Southern Richmond/Chester, Virginia Area. In November of 2024, JC’s Grandson Blake King, re-opened the restaurant continuing in his Grandfather & Great-Grandfathers footstep's.
