Albany Fish Bar

I just pop in to try fish and chips, food was delicious and fresh Also the main thing I like about the shop there was a guy named wajahat, coz it was my first visit to the Albany fish bar the way he approach to me and helping me out to choose the menu really appreciated will visit more often in future highly recommended.

Overpriced, practically all chips were stuck on the paper with black marks on them. The fish was also stuck to the paper. Thinner than a ruler. The Sausage in batter, nearly broke my teeth because it was so hard. Not sure if it was left over from the afternoon. Don't think I'll be going there again. Very overrated.

Ordered a.Marsala Box A bit disappointed about the branch in town. The fish is not as good as the one on Albany Road. It is rather thin and not like the one on Albany Road which is chunky and has very good texture. Barely taste of Marsala as well. Hope they would improve the quality and be more align with the old store.

First came to Cardiff, and had my best fish and chips in the UK, this store must win the best Fish and chips prize in the UK for 2024!!!! Thousands likes! (It’s too great that I forgot to take a photo of the fish sorry)

Absolutely amazing fish and chips, tasted beautiful, fresh well cooked and the man serving was super freindly and great guy..Absolutely recommend 10/10
