Akashi Sushi

This is my favorite kind of Japanese restaurant. They focus on making phenomenal sushi and providing outstanding service. One of my new favorites!

This place is a rip off. I asked for light onions and I got half a plate of onions. This is ridiculous!

I enjoyed my meal at Akashi. The specialty menu is extensive. We picked this place because they also have other entrees that accommodate the non sushi eaters in my group. It is also highly rated on my initial search and that made me comfortable to bring my family there. The service was good, we didn't feel rushed, and appreciated being checked-up on by our server a few times during the meal. Already making plans to meet my friend here for dinner. Parking: Located in a strip mall, so parking is very easy to find.

I made a huge mistake getting takeout from here. I called my order in. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I get there my foods not ready. The resturant is basically empty. it's more servers than patreons. Yet I have to wait another 30 minutes for my food. So in total it took an hour for my food to be ready which I could let go. But I ordered sashimi smh im pretty sure they didn't start my order till I arrived. Unfortunately the meal was a waste of money. Very bland sushi rice and small portions for the amount of money they charge. What hurts the most is I decided to go here over shiki sushi. I just wanted to try something different. I highly suggest you stay away from this hole in the wall.

This is my second time ordering from here, my first time, I got the wrong roll, this time the tuna does not smell or taste good. Fast forward 30 minutes and I’m not feeling good at all. The prices are fantastic but the sushi isnt worth it IMO.
