Akasaka Sushi & Japanese Steak House

This is my birthday spot every year! I always love the food and the environment! I always look forward to the onion ring part of hibachi! My favorite! ☺️

This is stil a fun place to go, celebrate birthdays, get fresh sushi (it was delicious), but they are now upcharging Fried Rice versus white rice an additional $2.99 at the Hibachi table... on top of the already price per person. But for once in a while, it's still a great place to come. It's clean and the waiters are friendly.

We had another wonderful dining experience enjoying great food and entertainment. A lady and employees sung happy Birthday to my son (she has a beautiful voice), our server was a keen younger guy that kept up with our banter, offering great service. Everything about this restaurant is awesome!

Good hibachi and sushi in Manassas

My spouse and I have been coming to this place for 5 years! It’s our go-to hibachi in Manassas. Unfortunately, things are taking a turn here. This is my 3rd bad experience with Akasaka! I keep returning because I made up in my mind that each of the 3 times have just been “off days” but this time I picked food up and specifically asked for “NO AVACADO, NO CUCUMBER, NO SESAME SEEDS” I get all the way home and settled in to find avacado in my sushi!!!!! I drove back to Akasaka the manager remade it but when asked for some sort of additional compensation she was struggling to accommodate and after going back and forth she said she’ll do something free next visit. After driving back home I decided I can no longer patronize because in the past we have never had an issue paying for food, waiting for food or anything of that nature! The fact that depending on how severe the allergy is you can put someone in the hospital for not one time but twice giving an item I am allergic to and handing it so lightly is crazy in my opinion!

Best place for hibachi and sushi. Been going here for over 15 years and absolutely love it. Would recommend it hands down. Parking: Large parking lot as part of the shopping center. Plenty of free parking.
