Afella Jollof Catering is here to introduce authentic Senegambian mouth watering foods. Afella translates to “taste good” in our “Serere” language spoken in Gambia and Senegal and Jollof is the name to the area we reside. We settled in Washington between three to five years, growing up, we trained to cook at the age of 9 the traditional way. Everything is made from scratch down to grinding our own spices. We value these wonderful traditions. That is why we only use the freshest ingredients seasoned with authentic house-made spices. Our ultimate guests can enjoy the ultimate Senegambian experience through a variety of flavorful stews, aromatic Jollof rice, baked fish dishes and grilled meats and veggies and pastries and organic drinks.
