Really disappointed. Made 7pm reservations was not sat until almost 8 and the hostess was borderline rude when we checked in. I had called ahead to ask if the cheese wheel was available for our two person reservation, was told yes and then was told by our server that it wouldn’t work for only two people. Server was very distracted and barely checked on us. Brought our dessert over and then took 15 minutes to bring our coffee. The food was good. Over all it was disappointing

I cannot even express nor fathom the utter disappointment that the service, food, and especially the owner have given me. I am disappoint. I heard amazing things about this establishment, but it turns out all of the reviews are Robots, because it couldn’t be farther from the truth. I ordered the clams and received 16 shrimp inside of the clamshells. I am very allergic to shrimp, and when I tried to explain that to the owner, he began raising his voice at me, and calling me a scammer because of my Western Indian ethnicity. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My Indian uncles sauce is more italian than the sauce offered here, let me know how that’s possible.

Food, service, ambiance, and cost were excellent. 6 dinner, 2 apps, 12 cocktails. I had the veal chop special and was delicious and a huge portion. The leftovers were even great a few days later, rewarmed, in the oven, not the microwave. Old school Italian feel with original dishes. Definitely recommend.

Solid food and drink across the board. The only thing I did not like, was the mashed potatoes, they were terrible with no taste. It is kind of hard to mess up mashed potatoes, all you have to do is throw butter and salt on them and they generally taste good. The mashed potatoes tasted like they had no butter or salt. I would work on this, but everything else was wonderful.

Everything about this place is top-notch, I love these guys, best cannolis in Connecticut, cannot change my mind on that! One night I went in there, and I was upset because I had just missed the kitchen closing down, they opened up the place for me, fired me up the espresso maker, brought me cannolis, my date thought I was some kind of Big time kind of guy which I kinda am, but I never felt so welcomed and taken care of. I love this place, you will not be let down!

Massive portions and great service, worth a trip for authentic Italian food. The cheese wheel will not disappoint.
