A Contemporary Market

STORY TIME! The pandemic had forced me to pivot away from working as social media and events lead at a local business and gift shop at The Yards in DC that supports “independent makers across the globe”. Anxious about which way to turn I turn to my faith. “I was like, God, what should I do?” and God said, “Bake!” so I started baking and made a Caribbean 5 Spice Tres Leches and it sold out my first day in business, which lit a fire under me. Soon after, I founded, Enica’s Essentials LLC doing business as A Contemporary Market, where I added skincare and other products to my baked offerings. I have a wellness shop, connected to the bakery and consider this to be a lifestyle brand. I am so excited to share my talents and remedies with you!
