Popular restaurant on a small plaza near the Pitti Palace area. Nice outdoor seating area. You will likely need a reservation in the evening. Delicious pastas, loved the fried zucchini blossoms and the tiramisu.
We were a party of 9 on Sunday May 19, 2024. The food was okay but the lady that served us was incredibly rude and insulting. We were in Florence for 2 weeks and went to many restaurants and were never treated like this. Never again.....
We had dinner here for our first evening in Florence. The terrace was nice and server polite and friendly.
Appetizer of bruschetta was tasty, as was my main of lasagna. However, my wife's carbonera was overcooked and the sauce scrambled. We mentioned this to our server, who was finishing her shift. We were asked if we wanted dessert and said we wanted a few minutes to decide. She never returned. We had to find someone else to settle our bill. I'm not sure if the kitchen was ever made aware of their poor carbonera.
Disappointing dinner at 4Leoni. Lovely pear filled ravioli with asparagus however the fish in the prawn linguini did not smell fresh and the dish was not very warm on arrival. Lovely staff allowed me to order another dish which was kind. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend, even without the food issue. Staff were run off their feet so was hard to get their attention and there was a really unusual playlist of music on that was quite sad. A real shame but maybe a once off.
This place was good but nothing special. We had the pear pasta which was the best dish we tried. We also had a salad with cheese, avocado and arugula. It was good but a bit over priced. Lastly we tried the peposo meat, good flavor but the meat was poor quality, super fatty. In felt slightly overpriced for what we had. If you're in a pinch and hungry this place will do the trick, not sure I would seek it out.
Pear tortellini is great. Recommend making a reservation.
Food was good but the waitress was extremely disrespectful
