This place has a beautiful patio. I had a veggie enchilada plate, and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back to eat.
Great food, great service, just a great place to eat on the way home from work or before the show!
First time guest. Superb service, short wait for the food. I had the shredded beef chimichanga and it was delicious. Serving size was generous. Black beans and rice were cooked perfectly and tasted great. I almost finished my plate, just a little bit of food left. Overall a very satisfying experience. I will return with my wife and friends. Thanks a ton!
It’s Friday (2/24) dinner and it’s just my wife and my daughter. Getting here is just an easy ride down J street. Parking was easy along the neighborhood area. The restaurant is fairly small compared to the other Tres Hermanas location. We were able to get a table quickly (was around 6pm) without having to wait. Our server was great. She was polite and very hospitable. She took our order which included a combination plate (Verde Burrito with side of Enchilada) and Dinner Plate (Verde plate). The food came out fresh from the kitchen within 10-15 minutes from ordering. It was very delicious. Not overly seasoned and packed with flavors. The pork pieces were very tender. The side of rice with the beans turned out very good too. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. We did order drinks (2 margaritas) but unfortunately both were very disappointing. My wife got a Patron Margarita and I got their House 3 Hermanas Margarita. Neither of us can taste the tequila in the drink. The sweet and sour they used overwhelmed the cocktail - Not fresh at all. At about $14-$15 a drink, it was a complete dud and fell very short of expectations. We are used to quality cocktails from other well established Mexican Eateries in the Sacramento area. Our bill came to about $90 with tax and tips for two meals (wife and daughter shared a plate), two cocktails, and a soda. That’s rather high for the mixed experience. Here are the ratings: Restaurant (5/5), Service (5/5), Food (5/5), Drinks (1/5), Value to Price Ratio (2.5/5), and Overall Experience (3.5/5). We would probably order from here again but would do it “To Go” instead just for the food. We would stay away from their cocktails or just get something from tap (e.g. Beer) instead. 3 Hermanas… Good Food, Good Service, but Bad Drinks. The food and service were really good. I would definitely be back the next time I am in Sacramento
We came in last night for a to go order. Super small restaurant, it was a busy night. Servers were nice. Their salsa is amazing. We ordered 2 chicken burritos, and while the flavors were delicious, we felt the burritos were very lackluster: menu says marinated chicken wrapped with pico de Gallo & lettuce, beans and rice are on the side apparently. The chicken tasted great, but there was nowhere nearly enough fillings. There was a tiny portion of lettuce and no pico de Gallo in either burrito. These burritos would be so so so much better if you incorporated the beans and rice, used fresh lettuce, and put in sour cream and avocado, with a hefty serving of salsa or actually put in pico de Gallo. I would still eat here, but next time I'll ask them to make the burritos differently.
Great Pico de gallo excellent, refried beans had so much creamy goodness and the rice was very well seasoned. ..next time I will try more. Ty
A wonderful neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Not exotic or specifically regional, but Tres Hermanas had the freshest vegetables (in a salad and the vegetable burrito) I have ever had in ANY U.S. Mexican restaurant. Excellent black beans too! Friendly service in a perfect location. Looking forward to more here. Parking: Plenty of parking in back on on street
This is now my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Sacto. Wonderful food, service and great surroundings. Camarones al mojo de ajo so good.
