225° Urban Smoke

Literally, some of the most mediocre, borderline terrible bbq I've ever had. Service was slow. There is absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever; it's like eating at a Subway. No smoke smell, no brisket on the cutting board, no meat in sight anywhere for that matter. Dry flavorless brisket, the sausage was gross, the rib was ok, cajun corn flavorless, collards mediocre. The meat tasted like it was reheated, and this was peak lunch hour. Never again.

Attempted to order by phone, and was placed on hold indefinitely. I’d rather eat elsewhere.

Wow! This place is SOOOO good! Clean, quick service, good music, friendly staff, and DELICIOUS brisket!!! (no sauce required)

Menu says warm potato salad, mine was cold. Good brisket. For someone with big hands the dinky plastic ware is way too small and flimsy. Do better on potato salad plastic ware and soda fountain. A little pricey for the inconsistencies.

Came in, and they closed in 20 minutes. They said, "Take your time dining in." Food is always great and service stellar. BTW they had someone walk in after closing, and they still served them!!!
