1929 Po-boy Kitchen is home of the "Oxtail Yakamein". It serves up delicious NOLA inspired food and some of the best gumbo around. 1929 Po-boy Kitchen at Lyric Market honors the poor boy history as a casual dining food vendor featuring Louisiana style poor boys as its core specialty for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our "po-boys" come with a variety of options including seafood, non-seafood, veggie and “surf n turf”. Don't forget to have the Sweet Potato Bread Pudding!
