A place that will be missed by many, the oldest gay bar in Minnesota, truly a historic place lost
Playing for a pool table is so dumb and old school. Just share. If you've been on it for 3 hours, maybe give someone else a chance. Staff doesn't care, just point to the rules on the wall.
How can a gay man not love The 19 Bar? If you don't, what is wrong with you? The service is fine. The beer and drinks are fine. The billiards are fine. The mix of music is fair enough (especially for the "fine wine" and beer-loving type of loving and lived queers). If you want techno, rap, and 2020 music, go west, young man. Want some respect here? Then, be respectful! Such an easy lesson, but so hard for some to understand.
Had a beautiful Thursday evening here. The gay water hit the after work spot, and the new small plates are just what I needed. Our bartender was the best, think their name was Olive. +++++ I am hoping to make it back for karaoke.
