I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Pearl. The service and food was great. There is a range of options regarding price. We went on the pricier side and order the seafood tower which was not terribly overpriced. I had the hangar steak and it was very tender, almost to the point of not needing a knife. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well. The service was exceptional. The waiter perfectly balanced ensuring that we were taken care of while not being too overly eager. My only complaint, which is a personal preference, is that it is so dark in the restaurant. Highly recommend for moderately priced seafood.
Try the tator tots! Great food and atmosphere! Take are very close together and it is very noisy. If you want an intimate and quiet dinner experience, this is not it. Great place though! Will definitely be back!
Affordable good food. The atmosphere is really nice. Staff are super friendly. Parking is very close and on the same side of the street as the restaurant.
I love the place and it's clean. In the bathroom is Listerine for your breath.
Bar tenders are rock stars. Service was unexpectedly refined and polished. Food and drinks are quite good. Menu is clever and nuanced. Worth a stop. Dietary restrictions: Excellent for gluten free eaters.
Food: 3/5 Cocktails: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3/5 I tried the Pearl for the first time and overall I was disappointed. I went for Restaurant Week, but I went off the regular menu. I had the devils on horseback and the flavor profile was complex and interesting!!! It was a great start that couldn’t be replicated. Next I had the Pork Piri Piri and for the most part it was fine, but there were 3 or 4 bites that were just fully pork fat. It was so egregious I gave up on eating it because I’m not a huge fan of meat roulettes personally. If you like fatty cuts you may have a decent time. I skipped the dessert b/c I wasn’t feeling pie, but my companion did the restaurant week menu so it came with pie. She tried the snickers pie and said it tasted like pure sugar so I don’t think I missed much. The cocktails were good - the first one I had was super sour, but the mojito was perfect. Service was a miss. Our server was kind and he tried to check on us a lot, but this restaurant used rotations vs. sections so he was running around the three areas of the establishment like crazy. Touch points were super rushed and then he would dash away to the other end of the place. It sort of came to a head at the end of service b/c he didn’t remember that I was off the regular menu after just being reminded so he dropped off a check that was really hard to split. We made arrangements at the table and five minutes later he comes over and says he could split them. It was too little, too late at that point & it would have been better to ask before the unprompted check drop. He was a super nice guy, so I’m going to chock that up to restaurant week and The Pearl’s management’s preference for rotation service despite the HUGE space/Friday night service… Overall, the food was VERY mediocre despite the price point/Cameron Mitchell stamp approval so I can’t recommend & won’t be back.
I went here for my birthday and it was wonderful. Service was great. Food was great, would be happy to go back.
