Tonight was my third time at this specific location. The service was excellent. The portions are good. The sauce they serve with the fried calamari tastes cheap (yellow mustard mixed with mayo and mayo+ketchup: not very Greek, if you ask me). We ordered the half chicken plate. The chicken was quite bland; there were barely any spices or garlic or lemon on the skin. Their salad dressing is disappointing. It's bland and uninteresting (you don't taste that punch from olive oil, garlic, lemon and oregano you usually find in an authentic Greek dressing). Their rice is usually good, but tonight, it was bland and more like cafeteria rice. Finally, during a previous visit, I ordered a chicken souvlaki pita and tonight, I asked some tzatziki on the side and I can say without a doubt that there is something off with their tzatziki. I can't put my finger on it, but it is something I make regularly at home and that I ate at other Greek restaurants and theirs doesn't taste good. This restaurant has great potential, but you can feel some laziness in the kitchen (or maybe in the administration?) because they tend to cut corners and they don't serve authentic Greek food.
La saveur est comme ailleurs soi en déclin. Les portions ont beaucoup diminué depuis l'ouverture. Les patates soi-disant grecques n'ont rien à voir avec la Grèce sauf la graisse. Pour le prix, on ne repassera pas là. Promis!
