"Hidden Gem in Pearl District for Workplace Events" Screen Door provided the perfect setting for a classy and enjoyable work event with over 10 colleagues. The warm, inviting ambiance featured comfortable tables ideal for group conversation. Soft lighting created a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The staff truly impressed us. Incredibly well-trained and friendly, they struck the perfect balance between professional and approachable. They were attentive, anticipating our needs and offering helpful recommendations. Despite our large group, food arrived within 20 minutes, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Starters came out even faster, allowing for pre-dinner mingling. The menu offers generous portions. While I opted for the flavorful Crawfish Étouffée with its rich sauce and perfectly cooked crawfish, others enjoyed the popular Fried Catfish Plate. They also cater to diverse preferences with a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks, house cocktails, draft beers, and wines. A bonus: the restaurant's location puts it within walking distance of many cool downtown attractions, making it a great option for an evening that extends beyond the meal itself. Overall, Screen Door is a hidden gem for well-executed workplace events, perfect for any occasion that starts or ends with memorable cuisine. Noisy, busy even on a Monday. The food is good-- the cinnamon rolls are excellent, the chicken is a little too spicy for me.

as a popular portland restaurant, i thought it might be overrated but i had an amazing experience. 10/10 food and service.

I had a chicken and waffle. Chicken was average, but you get a huge piece. Waffle and SYRUP were SO GOOOOOD.

One of my favorite brunch spots! Never skip the Bananas foster french toast and the chicken and waffles. Great service as well.
