Consistently some of the slowest service I’ve experienced at a Jimmy John’s, or any fast casual restaurant for that matter. Also encountered multiple unfriendly staff members.
Totally bizarre experience. I understand being short staffed, if that is the issue here, but this place is such a mess its not worth trying. Ordered two sandwiches. 30 minutes later the tracker was still stuck on "order received" so I tried to call. Called twice and no one picked up, so I called the main Jimmy John's customer service line. They couldn't reach the 5th Ave. store either so I asked to cancel my order. They sent a request to cancel to 5th Ave. An hour after I put in my order I get a call from 5th Ave. explaining that they were busy, they apologized, I said it was ok but I wanted a refund. Two hours after I put in my order I get a text saying my food has been delivered. I say that I cancelled my order. They say, that "its free then". I go to my porch and there is nothing there. I let the person know that they have the wrong house, or the wrong customer. They confirm my address. I tell them again that there is nothing on my porch. They stop responding. I don't want the food, but this is just insane. They can't make the food on time, they can't deliver on time (two hours!!) and they can't even deliver to the right house. Let's hope they can actually follow through with the refund. I haven't seen any evidence of it yet... :(
This place just cant get the orders right and im done. I ordered a turkey tom with extra lettuce, add pickles, etc. This sad sandwich is what was delivered. Sounds like dibellas is my only option by work.
I understand when places are short staffed and try to give the employees the benefit of the doubt. However, I was told someone would be right with me. After waiting for over 10 minutes with no one in the store besides myself, I went to order and they informed me that it was cash only. I didn’t have any cash on me, so I waited that long for nothing. There was no sign indicating it was cash only, otherwise I would have left right away. I didn’t receive an apology from the workers or anything. It was not a great experience after a long day of work to say the least…
I ordered from Doordash. After 1 hour (vs 18 minute order time) I called the store and they just they are short drivers. They didn’t care. I told them please cancel my order. They never did and charged me $15.50. I will never order from this place again. Poor service and liars!
If you place an online order & they dont have a driver, you will sit around for an hour. You’ll call, they then say they dont have a driver & “refund” you. This happened months ago & I never got my money back. They emailed me a voided copy but I never got my money. The other night, I thought Id give them another try. Placed an order, it never came. Never got a call from them & they closed by the time I was wondering where my food was (I did order about 45 minutes before close) however, calling would be helpful. I don’t recommend this location for delivery services
