What a lovely experience! The food and drinks were great, but it was the service that truly stood out. Our server, I believe his name was Tell, was extremely friendly, professional, and gave us prompt service. He recommended the chicken power bowl and wow! We will definitely be back.

Its a 8 Ave pub, so we expected it to be pricey, and it is. In fact good luck finding a price for a pint of Guinness, I was scared to ask the server. Food was just okay, we were hoping for better. My wife ordered the fish and chips thinking an authentic looking pub should do this well. The fish was greasy and did not meet expectations, would not recommend ordering. I had the Guinness beef pie, it was okay. My son had the bangers and mash and this dish was very good. Overall our party of five don't feel the need to go back anytime soon.

For my meal, I opted for the delectable lamb stew, which exceeded my expectations with its rich flavors and generous portions of tender meat. While I thoroughly enjoyed the creamy mashed potatoes that accompanied it, I couldn't help but ponder how dumplings might add an extra layer of satisfaction to the dish, considering the abundance of potatoes within. However, the addition of fresh rosemary as a garnish elevated the flavors to new heights, creating a harmonious blend of savory goodness. On the side, I savored every bite of the warm, freshly baked wheaten bread, so delectable that I found myself contemplating requesting the recipe. Much to my delight, I discovered a sign indicating that the recipe was available for purchase as part of a kit including all the ingredients, igniting my excitement for the possibility of recreating this culinary delight in the comfort of my own home. Overall, my experience at this pub was nothing short of exceptional, leaving me eagerly anticipating my return to explore more of its tantalizing offerings and perhaps even embark on a culinary adventure of my own with the wheaten bread recipe in hand.
