Great location, great prices, very elegant hotel. Staff greets you with smiles! Euan at the front desk made sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible! Will definitely be back!

Disappointed with arrival. My bag was taken to another room, and left. I'm on tour and a long holiday, so the bag was 'very' clearly labelled. The room is small, basic, not impressed. Not happy.

Great location for concerts at OVO Hydro as well as being a really good hotel. Staff are exceptionally polite and service is second to none. Food is as expected for this type of hotel.

This is not a five star hotel but I will rate it with 5 stars only because of an amazing service by the Club lounge lady that was super friendly and nice with all the guests every day. Managers reading, she deserves a bonus. Location is fair, about 20 mins drive from the airport and 15 minutes from the city. Conveniently located at the congress area if you are visiting for an event. There is also a subway station about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are okay, the suit room was spacious but it had quite a lot of moths that you can see on one of the pictures. In room mini bar is free of cost and refilled daily. Club lounge is very small, gets busy in the evening and quickly runs out of air. From 17.30 to 20.00 hrs they have snacks and alcoholic beverages served. Through the day you get unlimited soft drinks and crisps and fruit. Longe does not have a toilet, so going to your room or reception is a must. This can be time consuming as lounge is at 15th floor. Restaurant at the lobby is fairly good. Hotel breakfast is fair, covers the basics.

Kleine Auswahl an Brotsorten. Rührei, Speck, Bohnen usw. gibt's genug. Rooms: Motten Befall!!!

We do NOT recommend hiring the Crowne Plaza for your event. We hired the Argyle suite for my brothers wedding registry & reception last year and it was our biggest regret. Before I list the issues pls be advised that we took our issues up with the venue at great length straight after the function via Aleksandra, Drew and then eventually another senior member of staff who couldn’t be bothered getting back to us, despite chasing. This is testament to their lack of customer service skills. So before you part with your hard earned money please have a read at the following. Quite a few issues but named the main ones: 1. LACK OF SUPPORT PRE EVENT: You would think having spent a large amount of money on hiring the largest suite at the Crowne Plaza would mean you would have someone on hand to help with any issues we may have during set up. This was not the case. The illusive Events Manager was just too busy dealing with smaller conferences that were taking place upstairs, to even come and introduce himself to us nor help. When we finally tracked him down his attitude was foul, clearly very stressed and not a people person. The fact that a venue such as the Crowne Plaza left the responsibility on one man to cover multiple events is poor practice. 2. DISORGANISED CHAOS: Tables incorrectly set up despite plans provided and agreed in advance with the Crowne plaza events team. There were extra tables where there shouldn’t be and a mish mash of different sized tables too so nothing matched or was symmetrical! This meant another supplier was left to lift, move, find and carry tables outwith their remit. This also massively contributed to the delay in set up. 3. ACCESS: Despite advising the Crowne Plaza in advance that the wedding cake would be arriving the morning of the event, they decided to keep the main doors locked which prevented the cake company from gaining direct access to the hall. It took multiple trips over to reception asking them to open the doors as it was raining too, to be told that they couldn’t leave reception to do so but will try and track someone on the events team. They were unable to track their own illusive colleague on the events team, so they eventually relented and opened the doors 45minutes after the cake arrived! 4. ACCESS pt2: it was also agreed in advance that the bridal party would have a room upstairs to get ready in, as well as a couple of other rooms for the entertainment to get ready in and family. These rooms were not unlocked so the bride and her large family had to ask reception to unlock these doors. This too didn’t happen. It took my brother, the groom, to go to reception again to ask this to be done asap! 5. RED CARPET: we were advised in advance that we would be able to have a red carpet in the foyer. This was no where to be seen, so the wedding party had to go search for it, found in a cupboard behind one of the bars, which took 3 of our guests to carry out, only to find it didn’t fit in the space! 6. DIRTY: the events team were also made aware in advance that I would be setting up some bits in the foyer which would require a certain amount of tables. The tables were there but they were absolutely filthy! Covered in sticky stuff from the previous nights event. And a lot of the tables had stains all over them too. So fair to assume that they hadn’t even bothered cleaning between events. I was left having to get paper towels and hand wash from the bathroom to wipe them down (as much as possible). I eventually managed to track down a cleaner and asked if they could give the tables a proper wipe. The cleaner huffed, cleaned just the one table and walked off! 7. CONTRACT FARCE & POTENTIAL DATA BREACH: Despite the fact that the Crowne Plaza took payment directly from my parents and emails frequently sent between us and them, with our caterer cc’d in, their contract for the event was apparently under the name of a random company and person who we had no affiliation with! What a joke and quite frankly worrisome that they may have been sharing our personal information with said company.
