Sharing platters only, not ideal for different dietary restrictions. Seating not that comfy. Food wasn’t extraordinarily flavourful. Better spots on the drive and in the city. Service was good.
Delicious genuine mexican food would 100% recommend
¡Altamente recomendado!
We did walk in and had brunch here this morning. No lineup. We scanned a QR code at the front of the restaurant. In the end, the server introduced what we should be ordering. We thanked him for his recommendations. It was our first time here and didn’t know what’s good. We ordered veggie and pork tacos as well as Chilaquiles con Huevos. All of the dishes were great. We usually eat Mexican food in US but rarely in Canada. The service was great. The server was very caring and attentive. We didn’t ask for extra plates but he noticed we were sharing food, so he brought us extra an additional plate and fork. The ambiance and background music perfectly matched the Mexican cuisine. We enjoyed the brunch here. The interior design was on par with we expected to see on Commercial Drive. Also, the washroom was clean. I would recommend friends and family could come here for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hours. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options. They also serve pork but no beef
Fun spot to grab some beers and tacos. The pork was phenomenal, but potato filling seemed sparse. Flavours were great though. Just didn't feel like it was $15 worth.
Good food, wild prices. With a cafeteria vibe and no table service, you get table service prices and the expectation of a table service tip. Tacos and 2 drinks each was $130 for two people. The beach seats are Uncomfortably high. I'm 5'10" and my feet were dangling. The chairs are normal height, resulting in me towering over my companion, due to the height difference between our seats.
