Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee

Amazing beignets that make you feel like you're in New Orleans! I've been here twice with my husband, but already Way Down Yarder has became a favorite spot that we will visit for years to come! I would absolutely say this is a hidden gem in Columbus!

The beignets were a family hit! My children keep asking where I got them from. But for me, the grits were thee best I have had without making them at home. Also, the potatoes were a great addition. I wish they had more on their menu to try. I will be back though.

Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee, more like Way Downhill Disappointments. The beignets were a tasteless letdown, and I had uninvited roach companions for added “flavor.” The staff seemed more interested in being unwelcoming than providing any semblance of service. Save your taste buds and sanity—steer clear of this place unless you enjoy bad food and a side of rudeness.

Friendly people, excellent food. My 11 year old loved it so much she wants me to work here so she can eat here every day. Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family restaurant.

My recent encounter at Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee involved a dish that can only be described as a culinary catastrophe. The ratatouille I ordered was a flavorless disaster, and to my horror, actual rats made their presence known. The staff’s lackadaisical response to the rodent situation only added insult to injury. This restaurant seems to have mastered the art of disappointment; I’d strongly advise against subjecting your taste buds to such an ordeal.

Got me driving from Toledo, Ohio to try this place cause I heard it’s good. Boy was I wrong. This place should be shut down immediately food was cold. Champagne was burnt!! I asked the waiter for lemon for my water she sighed and rolled her eyes as if I was bothering her!!! Food is over priced. Wendy’s breakfast menu is better than the options they got. Terrible! Boo!

We came on our Party Bus because they were supposed to be open. All 25 of us were Highly Disappointed. 8:40p, 12/23/2023. We came to Support. Inconvenienced.
