Lovely hotel, most of the staff are friendly. Just outside of the city centre, £7ish in the taxi from John Lewis. Use of the car park is an additional charge. Spa is amazing! Shame you can only book 2 hour slots and it’s an additional charge (£20pp) to the room rate. You do get an hour included if you book a treatment. Gym equipment is great and you don’t have to pay any extra to use the gym. The spa receptionist was lovely and very informative. Had a treatment done by Lucy. We stayed for two nights and had room service breakfast each morning (which is an additional £5 although the strangely add an extra 50p which I am assuming is discretionary service charge) and it was always on time, still warm and really nice. The room was huge, we stayed in a dockside executive room. Requested a bath and it was fulfilled. After a certain time they only offer cold sandwiches for room service. The receptionist was very quick and efficient on both check in and check out. We dined in the Stanley bar and grill for lunch, for two pastas, two coffees, a Diet Coke and a cheese board was around £65-£70 including service charge. It’s 10% discretionary service charge in the restaurant and 5% in the spa, in my opinion I don’t think this is fair in the staff and should be equal in all parts of the hotel. The room was equipped with hair dryer, complimentary water in the fridge and ESPA products in the bathroom. In the spa changing room there were hairdryers and straighteners for guests to use. You can see your bill throughout your stay on the TV which I thought was fab! Great value for money aside all the additional extra costs (we saw all of these on the website before booking so knew what to expect), we stayed Monday - Wednesday on the love on the docks deal that included a bottle of wine. Looking to stay again in the future!

This is our go to hotel when in Liverpool. The building, rooms, bar and restaurant are great. Superb food and drinks. We had an issue (as did the whole hotel) with no hot water in the morning but these things happened. What really irked was that we mentioned to the reception when checking out that all the toiletries in our room were empty and the coffee machine leaked when you put any water in it, she couldn't have been less interested. Come on Titanic, this isn't what we expect for our favourite hotel. Rooms: Rooms are fantastic, large (huge!) and well decorated with lovely original brick ceilings. A really nice atmosphere with all the different lighting. Bathrooms always immaculately clean and with great toiletries. Food & drinks: Food always excellent and their cocktails are worth a try too.
