SOUND Cafe

Well-organised, safe, tidy, huge venue for both sport and live music. Prices are more reasonable than when they were under the Hard Rock franchise and you get table service. Decent food menu but we didn't order any, range for drinks can be improved but some local suppliers like Brixton brewery also available. Service charge is levied even if you order at the counter (similar practice at other high-end bars, nothing new, especially as it's hosted inside a hotel).

Went there tonight thursday before going up to Scotland, really not impressed . Drunken girl was a nightmare the whole night ! Ending with her smashing a wine glass on the table , having glass shards and wine over us ! Staff cleaned up as best as they could ! In my days in the service industry would have offered at least a discount on the bill or offer of a free drink . Then twice the drunken girl came back unchallenged by staff. Used to frequent when was hard rock cafe! Reluctantly couldnt recommend this establishment to any friends .

Shame about the food, couple of bites were hot rest was cold. Got the sharing platter the prawns was only the amazing dish but they were just regular fried prawns. The man Leo was topping up my drinks every 10mins. The atmosphere was amazing.

The venue & atmosphere is great. As you walk in your anticipation builds. However, the team looked short staffed. It took approximately 25 minutes before we were attended to. Our starters were ok, calamari. However it was just standard deep fried & nothing special. Both our mains were warm/cold. It felt like they had been waiting too long before being served. We didn’t even send them back because we were tired at that point, we just wanted to leave. Overall verdict: - venue looks amazing - need more staff & service is slow - food is below average, really nothing special. You’re really just paying to be in the venue
